Owner's of "For the Kids Day Care," Janis and David have been married for 37 years. We have three adult children (one daughter and two sons). We both grew up in Santa Clara, California.

I started a childcare service in 1986 because I recognized a need for quality care and education for young children. I have a Bachelor's Degree in photography and an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have recently applied for my Certificate of Achievement in Early Childhood Education and Certificate of Achievement in Program Director Specialization. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. My focus is teaching your child creativity through the arts and learning through academics. My goal is to prepare your child for kindergarten by providing a warm, stable, and loving environment.

DAVID

Having over ten years of experience as a day care provider (and raising three children), I have obtained an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. In addition to over forty units of ECE classes, I have recently applied for my Certificate of Achievement in Early Childhood Education and Certificate of Achievement in Program Director Specialization. I am also CPR and First Aid Certified. My focus is teaching your child about science and nature. How to explore the natural world of insects and plants while teaching why this interaction is important and essential. Encouraging questions, while emboldening them to provide their own answers. All of this, while your child has fun learning along the way.
