Owner's of "For the Kids Day Care," Janis and David have been married for 37 years. We have three adult children (one daughter and two sons). We both grew up in Santa Clara, California.

I started a childcare service in 1986 because I recognized a need for quality care and education for young children. I have a Bachelor's Degree in photography and an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have recently applied for my Certificate of Achievement in Early Childhood Education and Certificate of Achievement in Program Director Specialization. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. My focus is teaching your child creativity through the arts and learning through academics. My goal is to prepare your child for kindergarten by providing a warm, stable, and loving environment.

DAVID

With over twenty years of childcare experience, the experience of raising three children, and more than 40 units of Early Childhood Education coursework, I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. I have applied for Certificates of Achievement in Early Childhood Education and Program Director Specialization and am CPR and First Aid certified. My focus is on helping children explore science and nature through hands-on learning. I encourage curiosity, questions, and independent thinking—all while making learning fun and meaningful.
